Jennifer Medina is a photographer, cinematographer, musician, and generally lovely human being from Venezuela living in New York. She captures quiet moments of beauty and generally favors soft lighting and cool tones. I feel like her work views really well while listening to Clair De Lune, but it would probably be much more fitting if you were listening to her soundcloud.

I shot Jennifer on a disposable during my most recent visit to NY, and since she is such a glittery person I thought glitter would be the most suitable embellishment for the photos. We also walked around Chinatown and shot a short video, which I'll be posting soon :)

We had to shoot multiple earrings because NIN3 earrings look so bomb with colorful hair!!!

Jarae is a really interesting person. She has this amazing super developed sense of style and just oooozes ease and confidence. She pulls a lot of style influence from her grandmas which is evident in her dominantly vintage wardrobe. She's interested in and pursuing a lot of different creative fields, primarily modeling at the moment, and we're excited for the future when she'll be putting out her own music and music videos. We talked about some of the concepts she wants to work on and it all sounded suuuuper different and cool. Blending together different classic forms of dance and pairing them with music you wouldn't expect... Ugh I just want it to exist already.

I put her in the Grid earrings because they're different, like her. They look amazing paired with other earrings if you have multiple piercings in your ears, as well. And super light weight :)

NIN3 + Sarah Gloom ☆♀☆ ⚄⚃

Sarah is in a group chat with some friends and I, including the girls behind our fav stockists Tunnel Vision. I remember her telling us a few months back that she wanted to make music. Then- BOOM! Just a few weeks later, she was sending us demos, finished her EP, invited us to her first show (it was amazing), and now has already filmed a beautiful video for her song Road's End (coming out towards the end of this month). The name of her band is Making Out With Strangers and it's a nostalgic synth pop dance party. We all work at different paces so the point isn't necessarily to finish things quickly, I just love when people make a plan and then go out and execute it. Sooo inspiring.

One of our favorite things about shooting Natalia is how free she is. She seems to dance through each frame, all in one solid motion. Another model who was great at this once told me it's all about practice... Kind of goes for everything, doesn't it? Whatever you want to get better at, if you feel like you're not there yet, keep going. Jusssst keep going.
